Up to 350,000 m\u00b3 of drinking water can be produced daily on the special ship. Drinking water is obtained from seawater by the reverse osmosis process. Seawater desalination plants using the conventional reverse osmosis process use only parts of the raw water and pump the majority of the seawater back into the sea with a higher salt load. With the process we have developed, we process 100% of the seawater and produce microplastic-free table salt in addition to drinking water.
Our process prevents the salt content in the oceans from increasing. If the salinity in the oceans continues to rise, marine life cannot survive. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The OWRS Water Shuttle was developed by Port Energy Logistic GmbH, Hamburg. The OWRS Water Shuttle has a rig and sails made of photovoltaic film, primarily using wind and sun\/light. If there is not enough energy available, the conventional ship’s propulsion, which is fed by hydrogen, supplements the required demand.<\/p>

The drinking water produced on the OWRS – Ocean Waste Recycling Ship – is transferred daily at sea to the OWRS Water Shuttle by transshipment, which carries the water to land in an environmentally friendly way. <\/p>

Another variant is the transfer of drinking water via Mooring Buoys and pipelines to the water storage tanks on land.
